What's a Duct Tape Dummy? Can't you just use my measurements?
A Duct Tape Dummy is basically a life-sized dress form of yourself that I can use to make your costume exactly your size! If you don't know how to make one, don't worry- I've got a tutorial for ya! I prefer not to work with just measurements, I find that building off of a dummy is more accurate and works for me.

Can you make me a cosplay? Like a Pokémon?
I cannot make suits of copyrighted characters! This includes things like Pokémon, Disney characters, Sonic, Five Nights at Freddy's characters etc. I could easily get into legal trouble for doing that, so I'm not going to make them. Sorry!

Can you work with me to help me design my suit?
Of course! I love working with character design, and will totally brainstorm with you and draw out ideas and concepts for your suit. Even if your character already has a solid look, you will recieve concept art from me prior to my building the suit, so we can both make sure the markings are in the correct places and that everything is going to look how you want it.

I'm younger than 18 years old. Can I still commission you?
Though I have in the past, I no longer accept fursuit commissions from anyone younger than the age of 18, sorry! Do not try to commission one anyway or lie about your age! There can and will be legal repercussions- but don't be discouraged. If you are a minor, I would highly recommend you try making a fursuit yourself! There are plenty of tutorials and resources out there to help you!

When are your commissions open?
My commissions are not open at regular intervals. For the best information on when commissions will be open, check the "announcements" section on the homepage, or follow me on my social media sites. In general, commissions open about twice a year, around winter and in the summer.

How do you choose the commissions you take?
When my commission slots open, I post a form that potential customers fill out and email to me. These forms detail all aspects of the commission, including the commissioner's name, the character they want made, and features on the suit. Once the form is sent in, I review it and reply with a final price for the suit to be made in that opening. After a period of time, I pick the suit or suits which I feel I'll be able to create in a satisfactory and timely manner. I also take into account whether the customer will be able to pay sooner rather than later, whether I already have or know where to get certain supplies, and whether the commission itself is fun and interesting enough to me to keep me engaged and create a meaningful result.

Can you put me on a waiting list?
Nope. I like to give everyone a fair chance at commissioning me, so when I open commissions you will have to fill out and send in the form along with everyone else. You can, however, get a price quote and then save up so you have enough when commissions open again.

Do you accept payment plans?
Yes, in fact I prefer them! Payment plans can be negotiated, though I recommend two or three payments until the suit is paid.

Do you require a down payment?
I do. A down payment of around $400 is required up front, to secure your spot and allow me to buy the materials needed. The down payment is included in any price quotes I give you. NOTE: If you get a commission slot, but do not pay the down payment in a timely manner, your slot may be given to someone else!

How do I pay?
I only accept payments through PayPal. It's fast, safe, and relatively easy to get an account for.

Can I get a refund after I've already paid?
You cannot get a refund for your down payment! This is because as soon as I recieve that payment, I use it to buy all the materials I have to for the commission. If for some reason you cannot pay or find yourself unable to continue with getting the commission, you will only recieve a refund for money paid after the down payment, and I will sell the costume to another customer.

How long does it take for you to finish?
It generally takes me about a week of non-stop work to finish a full fursuit. However, I have school and other things I need to do as well. So depending on when you commission me, it may take a month to six months for me to finish your suit, depending on whether I took it during the school year and who's on the queue before you.

Would my character be too hard to make into a fursuit?
Nothing is too hard! However, the more complex the design is, the more expensive it gets. If you think it's a very difficult concept, just talk to me about it and we'll see what we can do! I love pushing myself and doing hard things, so I welcome challenges like difficult character designs. *Note however that they are called FUR suits... so if you ask for something drastically different, like an obese bald lumberjack Xenomorph, I will probably not be able to do that for ya.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I do! However, shipping to anywhere outside the U.S. is extremely pricey. Depending on where you live, shipping can cost up around $200. Please keep that in mind when considering commissioning me! If you want to get a basic idea of shipping prices, check out the UPS website's shipping calculator (Fullsuits tend to weigh around 15 lbs.) There are also some places that I am uncomfortable shipping to, like Central and South America, Asia, and Russia. It's just very risky to ship to those places, so I may refuse commissions on those grounds. I wouldn't want to finish a thousand dollar suit and then have it get stolen in the mail!

Can you add body padding on my suit?
Yes and no. I will add digitigrade padding, as well as chest padding or muscle padding (for an extra fee.) However, I will not add boob/womanly padding for two reasons: first, it's awkward, and second I don't think I can accurately create padding like that and still make it look natural. Sorry! Rest assured though, there are other ways to make a suit look more feminine, such as adding inward curves with the fur colors, and of course more feminine eyes and head shape.

What materials do you use?
As for fur, I only use synthetic faux furs from various websites and some local stores. So for anyone who's very animal friendly, no worries! I don't use real fur or pelts. For toony heads I use upholstery foam for the base, and for more realitic heads I usually use Smooth-on.com's ONYX resin.

Can you make me a suit with supplies or a base I bought previously?
I usually don't make suits with other people's parts for a couple reasons; first, I don't know if it'll be of good quality, and second even if it is good quality it's not really my work. I don't really like putting that kind of stuff in my portfolio, since I like to keep it original and honest and make things all myself. Also, I usually want to buy all the fur and supplies myself. That way I know exactly what I'm getting and how it'll work with my tools, and if it's low quality, I take the blame, instead of making excuses like "well that's just what they sent me" and all that.

Would I be allergic to anything on the suit?
There may be a few factors that could cause allergies. First, I do sometimes use latex materials on my suits. So if you are allergic, PLEASE let me know so I can avoid using it! I used to own pets, though alas the house I now live in doesn't allow them, so no allergy worries there. My home is smoke-free as well.

Can you make a costume for my child?
I could, but I highly recommend NOT commissioning me for kids' costumes. Mainly because it is just too expensive for a costume that the kid will wear once and then grow out of. There are much cheaper and practical alternatives out there! I know you'll ask "But can't you just make a cheap and easy costume for my child?" Well... no. My costumes are professional, unique and handmade artwork, and are not mass-produced or inexpensively manufactured.

How much experience do you have?
I have been making fursuits since 2011. You can check out my gallery for pictures of suits I've finished since then if you'd like! I may not be the most experienced fursuit maker out there, though I have had a fair share of good practice! I am far from being a weathered professional, but rest assured I'm not an amateur either ;)

Why should I order from you?
I would say I simply put a lot of love and dedication into my work, and I think it shows. I care a lot about being kind and good to work with as well as making a high quality, respectable product.

What can you not make on a fursuit?
I will not do any kind of modification on a suit that is adult themed. Also keep in mind that these are FURsuits, which means that the character should have fur (note that many reptilian suits can be made from fur). Besides that, the sky's practically the limit! If you have an idea that's really out there, let me know and we can work it out. I love challenging myself and doing new things. I can do some things when it comes to electronics, but I'm not very skilled in that field. Doesn't stop me from trying :)

I'm a previous customer. Can you revise/refurbish my fursuit?
I will usually not refurbish a fursuit from a different maker. However, when it's a suit you got from me previously, you've got a few options. My Terms of Service state that for one year after you recieve a suit from me, you can send it back for repairs as long as you pay for shipping. If after a year you want me to fix or refurbish your suit, email me and we'll talk about exactly what we can do. I might do a refurbishing job for a small fee, or I might decide to completely remake some parts (like the head) for cheaper than I would otherwise, since you were a previous customer.

What's the easiest way to communicate with you?
PLEASE only email me if you've read this FAQ first!! If you still have questions, you may email me at biz@sebresos.com. I check my emails more regularly, so that is the best way to contact me (as opposed to comments on any social media sites.) Please give me a few weeks to answer your emails though, I can get quite busy!
